ILLUSTRATOR
Hello!
I am an artist that was originally born in Longmont, Colorado. Before attending university, I was self taught since 5th grade. Even before 5th grade, I had always enjoyed art in most forms. I was from a musical family and found myself favouring art classes instead of academic. But, around the age of 12, I found myself involved in artistic communities online. This boosted my passion for art and creating stories for characters that I was drawing. What was once characters for fandoms quickly morphed into my own personal characters and worlds.
At the beginning of my freshman year, I was introduced to D&D. This absolutely changed my view of art. Not only did it give me a place to pour hours into a characters, it surrounded me with people who wanted to tell stories alongside me. My passion for art has never been greater than when I am invested in a D&D campaign. Often, a lot of my own personal projects are based upon characters that I've made within these worlds.
Our D&D campaigns are completely homebrew, and because of this, I have often helped my DM with the world building. This interest has leaked into my artwork by finding a love in thinking of the small details of a character or a design or a landscape. One of my favourite things is looking into documented history and cultures to then put into my own work with twists to better fit the setting or genre.
With all of these backgrounds, I have found a passion for illustrating and being able to tell a story in one image.
